Meet the Designers

Hi!  I'm Sara,- Owner, Floral Artist, Lead Designer of Lavender & Leaf Designs. 

My love for flowers is rooted in childhood, where many days were spent in my mother’s gardens —learning the name of each bloom as it arrived with the season, riding my bike along tulip-lined paths , and climbing the lilac tree outside our kitchen window- taking in the beauty and the intoxicating scent that still brings me back to my childhood to this day.

Flowers have always been tied to memory, emotion, and a deep sense of place for me — and over time, that love naturally grew into a passion for floral design.

I started my floral journey  in the floral department at a market in CT where I  learned the basics of design and the rhythm of seasonal blooms. From there, I went on to design for retail flower shops and garden centers, building experience across all areas of floristry and horticulture.

 After navigating the flower world for over 13 years, the vision for Lavender & Leaf was born around a desire to create intentional designs with a romantic and natural feel, inspired by the season, and grounded in sustainable practices that honor both the environment and the love stories we’re helping to tell.
