Meet the Designers

Hello!  I'm Sara, owner and lead designer of Lavender & Leaf Designs, an artistic, home-based floral design studio located in Hudson Valley, NY. After navigating the flower world for over 12 years  managing other NY retail flower shops, the vision for Lavender & Leaf was born around a desire to create more personalized gatherings with a romantic and natural feel, and thoughtful attention to detail and sustainability.

Amanda is my lead designer and floral soul-sister. We're a couple of flower-lovin gals, passionate about creating beauty for life's most celebrated moments. 

Our Style

Our designs are best described as a perfect balance of  refined and playful. Lush blooms, textured greenery and foraged elements from our cutting gardens, as well as from the wild are what help define our natural aesthetic. 

Our Sustainable Practices 

We are passionate about preserving the Earth for our little ones and future generations;  implementing sustainable practices in all parts of  the business- from growing and creating, to cleanup after each event. We love supporting and ordering from local flower growers here in the Hudson Valley- searching out the most unique, organically grown blooms to incorporate in our designs.

Collaborating and working closely with our couples is so important. Our goal is to combine your vision and inspiration with our aesthetic, creating florals that are a true reflection of the season, the space, and the both of you.
