Meet the Designer

Hi!  I'm Sara,- Owner, Floral Artist, Lead Designer of Lavender & Leaf and I'm so honored and excited at the possibility of working together!

My passion for flowers began in my childhood  where many summer days were spent in my mother’s gardens- admiring and learning the name of each bloom as it arrived with the season, and in the spring-  climbing the lilac tree on the side of our home, taking in the beauty and the intoxicating scent that still brings me back to my childhood to this day.

Flowers have always been tied to memory, emotion, and a deep sense of place for me -and over time, that love naturally grew into a passion for floral design.

 After navigating the flower world for over 13 years working for retail flower shops, the vision for Lavender & Leaf was born around a desire to create artistic designs with a romantic and natural feel, inspired by the season, and grounded in sustainable practices that honor both the environment and the love stories we’re helping to tell.

 With a talented team of fellow flower lovers by my side, we design for weddings and celebrations throughout the Hudson Valley and Catskills.
